Denny Gutierrez is a fine potter. His work shows mature development and refinement of style. He creates swirling melon bowls, in the tradition of Angela Baca. Other contemporary artists who create this form include Nancy Youngblood Logo and her brother Nathan Youngblood.
Denny’s work is noted for well-balanced forms and graceful lines.
